Dr. Justin Hanus began his professional journey graduating from Stockton University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in 2019. His relationship with Trifecta started during his time as a Student Physical Therapist, where he received invaluable mentorship under Dr. Jeremy Boyd. Following his graduation, Justin joined the Glassboro clinic as a Physical Therapist, rising to the position of Clinical Director.

Throughout his career, Dr. Justin has pursued opportunities to advance his education and expertise. His passion for sports and exercise motivated him to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2019, certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He further developed his clinical skills by completing Orthopedic Residency Training at Temple University in 2020, subsequently earning his board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2021. In 2024, Justin achieved Fellowship status with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) after completing fellowship training at Regis University. This advanced training distinguishes Dr. Justin and the Trifecta team as leaders in the field of sports physical therapy, offering an exceptional level of clinical expertise.

Beyond his work in the clinic, Dr. Justin is also dedicated to teaching the next generation of physical therapists. He holds teaching roles in Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) programs, and provides continuing education in orthopedics, sports, and manual therapy. He enjoys providing clinical mentorship to DPT students and Orthopedic Residents.

Dr. Justin’s passion for sports was nurtured from a young age, encouraged by his parents to explore a wide range of activities. Over the years, he participated in soccer, basketball, tennis, hockey, cross country, baseball, swimming, shooting, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. During high school, Justin played as a varsity lineman for Cinnaminson High School. Today, Dr. Justin stays active through weightlifting, yoga, running, and golf. He has also competed in multiple Obstacle Course Races (OCR), including Tough Mudders and Spartan Races, achieving the Spartan “Trifecta” in 2024 by completing all three OCRs (5k, 10k, and 21k) within a calendar year. He is currently training for his first Half Marathon this Fall. 

Dr. Justin’s commitment to helping others, combined with his love for sports, has driven his journey to becoming the highly skilled physical therapist he is today.
